Data and purposes

CameraHoarders has no visitor accounts or contact forms. It does not store checklist activity or add advertising scripts, affiliate widgets or tracking pixels to its pages. It keeps limited first-party measurement records to understand visits, page and marketplace-link use, and to diagnose affiliate-link delivery.

For that purpose, CameraHoarders uses a random first-party identifier stored in a cookie, with a 30-day visitor lifetime and a rolling 30-minute session. The database stores only a one-way hash of that identifier, not the cookie value or a full IP address. It records time, page, initial referrer and referring domain, UTM parameters, coarse device/browser/operating-system family, Cloudflare-provided country where available, and a heuristic human/bot classification. It does not fingerprint visitors or build cross-site profiles.

Cloudflare processes technical request data to deliver and protect the site. This may include IP address, request time and URL, HTTP headers, browser and device information, and network or security signals.

If you download the checklist PDF, the file is saved only where you choose on your device.

External and affiliate links

When you choose an eBay link, CameraHoarders records that outbound click before redirecting you to the configured eBay destination. The destination contains eBay Partner Network tracking parameters. After you leave CameraHoarders, eBay processes your visit under its own privacy practices.

Legal basis

Technical request data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR: delivering requested pages, maintaining availability and protecting the site against abuse.

Processor, recipients and transfers

Cloudflare provides hosting, content delivery and security services. Its global network may process technical data outside the European Economic Area. Cloudflare’s Data Processing Addendum applies the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and additional safeguards to restricted transfers.

Retention

First-party analytics records are intended to be retained for no more than 13 months and then deleted or aggregated. Cloudflare retains technical data according to the active service configuration and its applicable retention practices, then deletes or anonymises it when no longer needed.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, deletion of or restriction of your personal data. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests and, where applicable, request data portability. Contact admin@verkkojatuki.fi.

You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman, Finland’s supervisory authority.
